Kriyas are sets of yogic exercises that stimulate and harmonize the glandular system of our bodies. Every chakra has a correlating gland, and by balancing these glands and their natural patterns of hormonal secretion we are able to tap into the internal chemistry of our bodies. There are thousands of kriyas that can be practiced, some are vigorous and some are meditative and the exercises range from repetitions of movements, chanting of sacred sounds, breathing techniques and complete relaxation.
