I am a dedicated student of ancestral healing practices and have been on the path of holistic healing since 2002 when I was first initiated in the art of Reiki I, II and III achieving Master level at age 15 in my home country Colombia. Since then, I have trained in different therapeutic modalities such as plant medicine work, indigenous shamanism, traditional Thai massage, yoga, Andean energy medicine and transpersonal psychology. I am an avid student of the ancestral cultures that have preserved these practices and follow the traditional principles of natural healing as observed by traditional Ayurvedic medicine and traditional indigenous medicine. I seek to integrate the tools I have learned in offering a sacred and safe space for therapy, and enjoy facilitating learning environments where others can learn these tools and offer their gifts to the world

As an anthropologist I work closely with the traditional indigenous healers and medicines in my home country Colombia as well as in Peru and the United States and I’m a researcher of therapeutic uses of plant teachers in ceremonial contexts. I hope to help bring to light the benefits that can stem from the use of plant teachers and expanded states of consciousness in the awakening of self-awareness and higher wisdom.

I’m devoted to the cultivation of traditional healing practices through the use of plant teachers, therapeutic touch and self-awareness. It is this fascination for the intersections of body, mind and spirit that has guided me on the path of self-inquiry and has inspired me to practice with discipline as a vehicle for growing love and compassion for all sentient beings.

My heart goes out in gratitude to all the medicine men and women, altar carriers, healers, shamans, yogis, meditators, philosophers, professors, and teachers I have had over the years in formal and informal settings. I cannot detail particular institutions where I have received some of the most profound teachings, because some of these have simply occurred in the context of life and through my world travels. I am happy to share stories and particular details in conversation if you have interest in any one particular direction. My path is your path, and the true compass lies in your heart.
